How do we do it?
We start with surveying communities and people that have the potential to engage in
income-generating activities. This is followed by selecting a handful of people
and forming a group. A training center is established, where this group of people
learns various handicraft skills under the guidance of expert trainers/designers.
After the successful completion of the training module, the trainees/beneficiaries are
provided market linkage through which they can sell their hand-made products and earn
sustained livelihood. Even after training, the organization provides full hand holding
support to the artisans. Entrepreneurship quality also developed among them.
